Gifts are commonly offered freely to express deep feelings or to show gratitude. Gifts are given voluntarily usually without expecting anything in return. Everyone likes to receive gifts, it excites, you feel loved when you get a gift. No matter how cheap, it’s the thought behind it that matters.
However, gifts come in different categories depending on how financially buoyant the giver is or on the other hand, how important the person is to the giver. Some gifts can be expensive; some may be cheap while some may be priceless. Top among the priceless is the gift of life, no amount of monetary or material value can be placed on life, and it has no duplicate. I thank God that you have life, that is why you are reading this short message. Much more priceless is the gift of Jesus Christ! The word of God according to the Bible, in the book of John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In this case, God is the giver, mankind is the recipient and the priceless gift is Jesus Christ his only begotten son through Him we have everlasting life. To qualify is to simply believe the word of God!
God made everything and owns everything visible and invisible, known and unknown. He can make rich and make poor and in his wisdom, he gave everlasting life so that you and I will not perish. No amount of money can buy the everlasting life which anyone who believes in Jesus Christ begins to enjoy from the moment you believe till eternity for that matter. What does it profit a man that gains the whole world and losses his soul? If I can have all things in Jesus Christ here on earth and still gain eternity (everlasting life) then it’s only wise to have Jesus.
I enjoin you today, embrace Jesus, accept Him by confessing Him as your personal Lord and surrender to Him and begin an intimate walk with Him today.
